Rooted in East-London, REMI.C.T STUDIO was Established in 2017 with the goal of leading the conversation in design led solutions to challenges in the global built environment.
‘We are a passionate multi-disciplinary Studio who enjoy both leading in design and partnering with world renowned practices in larger collaborations. The Studio focuses on two key principles when approaching a new project; context and the human experience. How can this design make the most of the environment it is a part of and enhance the greatest features of the landscape, making use of the tools and expertise it is surrounded by? How can we better understand the patterns of people’s behaviour and enhance their spatial experience into all components of the design?
Founding director Remi Connolly-Townsend has a diverse background having practised and trained in the UK, Western and Central Europe, North America and West Africa.
Since founding the Studio she has been featured in New Architects 4 - the Architecture Foundation’s publication featuring emerging practices in the UK. Has led Projects such as Maryland House which challenges the live/work hierarchy in the home and advocates for the younger creative/entrepreneurial generation. The building was featured in Dezeen, Wallpaper* Mag, and The Modern House.
With the success of the Studio Remi has been invited to sit on multiple judging panels including, Waltham Forest Council, World Architecture News, and British Home Awards.
Remi is currently focused on the Studios exciting upcoming projects and collaborations within the UK, Middle East and West Africa, within infrastructure, education, commercial, mixed-use and residential.
We are a passionate multi-disciplinary Studio who enjoy both leading in design and partnering with world renowned practices in larger collaborations. We extend our collaborative approach to our clients working closely with property developers, private clients and the public sector to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
